Cookies and trackers
Publisher: VenteGrid

Authoritative version: the French text alone is binding
In plain words
This website measures its audience. Part of that measurement uses no cookies at all: we see what is read, listened to and clicked, without ever identifying you or following you elsewhere.
We also use tools from our advertising partners, which do set cookies and can recognise you on other websites. You can refuse them at any time, in section 6 of this page.
This summary is provided for convenience only. Only the full text below is binding, and only in its French version.
1. What we are talking about
A cookie is a small file placed by a website on your device and sent back to the server on each visit. It is the mechanism used to follow a visitor from page to page, and often from site to site.
Local storage is an area of browser memory. What is written there stays on your device: unlike a cookie, it is never automatically sent to the server.
A pixel is a short program supplied by an advertising network. It tells that network you visited, and lets it match the visit to the account you hold with it.
Which tools are actually active depends on how the website is configured at the date of your visit. This page describes every tool that may be used.
3. Our partners' trackers
We use the measurement and advertising tools of the following companies, in order to measure how our campaigns perform, understand how visitors move through the site, and show them relevant advertisements:
| Partner | Purpose | Indicative duration |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics and Google Ads | Audience measurement, conversion tracking, advertising, including YouTube | Up to 24 months |
| Google Tag Manager | Loading the tags above | Session |
| Meta (Facebook, Instagram) | Advertising and conversion tracking | Up to 90 days |
| TikTok | Advertising and conversion tracking | Up to 13 months |
| Business advertising and conversions | Up to 6 months | |
| X (Twitter) | Advertising and conversions | Up to 13 months |
| Snapchat | Advertising and conversions | Up to 13 months |
| Advertising and conversions | Up to 12 months | |
| Advertising and conversions | Up to 12 months | |
| Microsoft Clarity | Behaviour analysis, heatmaps, session replay | Up to 12 months |
| Microsoft Advertising (UET) | Advertising and conversions | Up to 13 months |
| Hotjar | Behaviour analysis and session replay | Up to 12 months |
| Matomo | Detailed audience measurement | Up to 13 months |
What this means
These tools set cookies or advertising identifiers. They allow those companies to recognise you on other websites and to match your visit to the account you hold with them. Some, such as Clarity and Hotjar, record how you move through the page: pointer movement, scrolling, clicks.
Each of these companies acts on its own behalf and applies its own privacy policy, over which VenteGrid has no control. Data may be transferred outside your country, in particular to the United States.
These tools load as soon as the page opens. You can refuse them at any time, in section 6, or from your browser settings, in section 7.
4. What we observe
Beyond the simple fact that a page was viewed, we measure how the presentation is received:
- which chapters actually appeared on screen, not merely scrolled past;
- reading depth, by quarters of the page;
- listening to the narration: play, pause, progress, chapter reached;
- screenshots enlarged;
- language changes;
- clicks on call-to-action buttons, downloads and outbound links;
- clicks on the contact address;
- time spent on the page.
These measurements are about behaviour, not about people. They contain no name, no email address and no telephone number. Collected by the cookieless tools of section 2, they are attached to no persistent identifier.
5. Local storage
Two items are stored in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and are sent to no one.
| Name | Purpose | Content | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
mg-langue |
Remember the language chosen, so the right version opens next time | "fr" or "en" | Until you erase it |
mg-consentement |
Remember whether you accepted or refused the trackers in section 3 | "oui" or "non", and the date | Until you erase it |
Both items are strictly necessary to the service you asked for: one saves you choosing your language twice, the other saves us asking again about trackers.
6. Your choice
You can refuse the trackers in section 3 at any time. The cookieless tools in section 2 keep working: they do not identify you.
The setting appears here when JavaScript is enabled. Otherwise, use your browser settings, described in the next section.
Your choice is kept on this device and in this browser. It must be made again on another device, in another browser, or after browsing data is cleared.
8. In the MonGerant software
The software at app.ventegrid.com, and the installed applications, use cookies and local storage that are strictly necessary to their operation:
- Session and authentication: keeping the user signed in from page to page and closing the session after a period of inactivity.
- Security: protecting against session hijacking and fraudulent submissions.
- Display preferences: language, display format, printer choice, last screen visited.
- Offline operation: temporarily keeping, on the device, operations entered during a network outage, for later synchronisation.
None of this serves advertising or profiling. It is indispensable: blocking it prevents the software from being used.
9. Amendments to this policy
This policy may be amended at any time, in particular if the website, the tools used or applicable regulations change. The applicable version is the one published on www.ventegrid.com.
